Terms of Service

Last updated: August 28, 2026

These terms govern your use of Amable, a desktop application that controls Ableton Live through a conversational assistant. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

Amable connects to Ableton Live running on your own computer and performs actions you request — changing tempo, creating tracks and clips, writing MIDI, loading devices, and similar operations. It requires a compatible version of Ableton Live, which you must license separately.

Amable changes your project. The assistant acts on your live session and can make mistakes or misread a request. Destructive actions such as deleting a track or a clip always ask for your confirmation, but you remain responsible for your work. Save and back up your projects regularly. Ableton's Undo (Cmd/Ctrl+Z) reverses most actions.

Accounts

You sign in with your email address and a one-time code. You are responsible for keeping access to that email secure, and for activity under your account. One account is for one person; do not share it.

Refunds

If Amable does not work for you, write to hola@amable.chat within 14 days of a charge and we will refund that payment. Where local consumer law grants you stronger rights, those apply.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Availability

We aim to keep Amable running, but the service is provided without an uptime guarantee. It depends on third parties (Cloudflare, Stripe) and on Ableton Live's own behavior, which can change between Live versions.

No warranty and limitation of liability

Amable is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for lost work, lost data, or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Trademarks

Amable is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Ableton AG. Ableton and Ableton Live are trademarks of Ableton AG, used here only to describe compatibility.

Termination

You can stop using Amable and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that violates these terms, and will refund any unused portion of a prepaid period unless the violation involves abuse or fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
