Amable

Amable / AI MIDI generator

An AI MIDI generator that writes into Ableton Live

Most AI MIDI tools hand you a file to drag in. Amable writes the clip straight into your Live 12 set: you ask for chords, a bassline or a beat, and the notes land on the track, in key, ready to play.

What you can ask for

Say it the way you'd say it to a producer next to you:

write a 4-bar chord progression in A minor on the Keys track

add a bassline that follows those chords

make a reggaeton beat at 95 BPM

give me a busier hi-hat pattern with some ghost notes

Amable creates the MIDI clip, writes the notes and fires it, so you hear it straight away. If the track has no instrument yet, ask for one ("load Wavetable on it") and it loads it from Live's browser.

How it writes the notes

Why "in your set" matters

The clip is a normal Live clip. You can open it, move notes, change the length, duplicate it to other scenes or drag it to the Arrangement, the same as one you drew yourself. Nothing to export, nothing to import, and the idea stays next to the rest of your track.

It also knows what's already there. Amable reads your set before it acts, including the notes in your clips, so "a bassline for the chords on Keys" starts from the chords you have.

Try it on your own set

Amable is a Mac app for Ableton Live 12. Install it, open your set and type.
